WHAT HAPPENS WHEN DREAMS ARE LAUNCHED IN THE WRONG ENVIRONMENT?

Few people would consider it wise to give birth in the midst of a landfill or a sewage treatment plant.
No responsible and loving parent delivers a baby and then leaves it in the middle of a busy freeway.
But day after day entrepreneurs do a similar thing when they share their hopes, dreams, visions and plans with people who do not care to see them happen.

Some of these people will steal the idea and rush to market with it. Some will mock it until they crush all hopes of launching just because they are jealous of your potential success. Some will wait silently until the dream is launched so they can point out every learning point along the journey. Some will watch every phase of the birth of your vision, then snatch it from your hands to destroy it.

Be careful who you surround yourself with when your launching new ideas. Make sure you know who needs a NDA and who needs loving silence. Make sure you are getting your advice from mentors who have done this before who can help you avoid the pitfalls. Make sure you haven’t surrounded yourself with those who only wish to glean from you and run.

It is the rut of hopelessness that traps many would be shining stars and buries that glow from the sight of the world. It is the rut of hopelessness that extinguishes that flame.

Lives that would have been a beacon to the wandering are lost at sea themselves. Inspirations of success that would have been the voices crying out to all who suffer are hidden away in their own stale lives, they cannot share who they are or what the world needs from them.

Without vision people perish.

Without vision, we seem to be lost, mind numb robots following the herd into the abyss that is everyday life. We do not live intentionally without a vision for our future. We do not live passionately without a vision for our future. We do not live productively without a vision for our future. We certainly cannot lead without a vision for our future and a vision for the future of those we lead.
