Several years ago, I had the opportunity to attend a workshop given by Mr. Norris at the National PTA Convention. He spoke about managing conflict with difficult people, and how to use various leadership styles and gifts to navigate difficult situations in the board room. I learned a great deal from him, and hoped to have the chance to share his insight back home. Last year, I had the chance to plan a weekend retreat for our State Board of Directors, and invited Mr. Norris out to spend the weekend in the mountains and woods of North Georgia to offer intense training on leadership styles, and conflict management. It was a very necessary training and a very productive weekend. His insight into the various personalities and issues after only spending a short time with us was astounding!!
