Life comes in circles and cycles. There are two different ways the circles get smaller, when your getting closer to the top of the mountain and when you’re going down the drain. Like a helicopter on auto rotate going down fast. Those circles also grow faster, meaning the time it takes to make a lap is shorter, hastening the end of the journey. That’s good if you’re going up and the summit, the peak, the pinnacle of your life is close. That’s not so good of you’re going down the drain and your life, your career, your relationship is hastening to its end. It’s really hard to slow down or reverse course. The worst feeling in the moment you realize you THOUGHT or FELT LIKE it was all going your way but you didn’t recognize the signs. Your perception might be, we’re all good. We’re holding steady. We’re gaining ground. All the while you’re going down in flames and don’t realize it yet.
