Everyone has value. Not everyone ADDS value. Know the difference before you choose your inner circle Loving others does not mean indiscriminately allowing people into your life at a level where they influence you. Yes everyone has value as a human being. Everyone deserves to be loved and cared for, to be treated humanely and with respect, to be regarded and heard when they have concerns. But that does not mean every person should have a say in the major decisions of your life such as who your friends are, who you talk to, where you hang out, when, where or how you do business. Friendships and partnerships can become toxic and destructive when unhealthy levels of influence occur. Be wise. Do your homework. Stand your ground. Surround yourself with people who add value and challenge you to be a better person. Even in business. Not everyone with money to spend should be your customer or client. Life is too short for that.
