The emotional journey of the vision which drives your life purpose, calling and commitment should experience three major phases.

MOVED WITH COMPASSION
There will be a moment in every leader’s life that someone will catch their eye, captivate their heart, provoke their imagination and move them to extreme action. That moment is called “moved with compassion.” Its that moment when the leader’s heart is broken for the plight of an individual, a group of individuals or a proverbial “tribe of people.’ When their pain, their struggle, their burden is too much to bear, too much to observe and something must be done.

COMPELLED TO ENGAGE
​When emotion drives action leaders are compelled to engage. No more time for watching, hoping for change. No more time for wishing someone else would step up, step in or step out. No more turning a blind eye. The sleepless nights, tear filled conversations, the sense of loss for an absolute stranger demands MORE... NOW. This is when the imagination begins to do its greatest work. This is when the vision begins to percolate in the soul. Images, feelings of responsibility, a sense of purpose are born in these moments which may have never been alive before now.

A cosmic collision is imminent! The crashing of all that you are made for, destined for, capable of, gifted to do will emerge like a volcanic eruption and begin to flow with the veracity of lava toward the problem you have identified. There will be battles to come. You may have to struggle against the tortured because they are comfortable in their pain. You may have to wrestle with those who have caused the burden to exist. You will certainly have to wage war against those who profit from the prolonged problem. That’s when your leadership, your passion, your commitment will drive you against these obstacles. A clear picture of the problem solved will provide the energy, synergy and motivation you need to fight - not for you but FOR THEM.

OVERWHELMED WITH THE JOY OF TRIUMPH
When you can craft a clear enough image of the problem solved that your emotions want to laugh and cry at the same time, you will experience the beginning of a journey you have never been on before. This is an adventure you cannot buy tickets to. This is a path few will follow alone. BECAUSE, the minute you share this CLEAR VISION with others, the will beg you to jump on board. They make have been stifling this same burden for year. They may have wept for the same people. They may have been angered by the same plight. BUT TODAY your image of victorious celebration compels them to join you in this fight.
