If you have ever missed an appointment, you know the anxiety which follows.

How long before I can reschedule? Will this person still trust me to show up after this? How can I prove my trustworthiness in this relationship? Will they hire me now?

If you miss the port call when the cruise ship leaves, you have a long swim home. The captain is very concerned about your well being when you are on board, but if you decided to stop at one last shop at your shore excursion, all the excuses in the world won’t get you back on the boat once they have set sail.

You might have missed an appointment with a prospective employer, employee or client. You might have missed an appointment in time which only the cosmos was aware was a possibility or potentiality at that very moment, in that very place.

Keeping your commitments goes way beyond punctuality. Keeping your appointment commitment is a rendezvous with destiny hanging in a serendipitous balance of opportunity.
Leaders must keep their appointments.

Lives that would have been a beacon to the wandering are lost at sea themselves. Inspirations of success that would have been the voices crying out to all who suffer are hidden away in their own stale lives, they cannot share who they are or what the world needs from them.
