Perhaps is is a true addiction. Perhaps it is a desire you have sacrificed time, money and relationships in the pursuit of. Perhaps it is a desire which keeps you up at night and causes you to ponder and wonder and imagine great ways to achieve it. BUT WHAT IF??? What if that desire was a stirring deep in your soul? What if that insatiable craving had no name? No label? What if you felt like you we missing something but could say what was missing? What if you had that homesick feeling only it was homesick for a place you’ve never been? Imagine living a huge chunk of your live with a burning hunger and no way to fill it because you don’t know what you’re hungering for. I believe there is a large percentage of the population of the world who awake and go to sleep experiencing this longing everyday. Some people placate the feelings with job hopping, becoming a career student, or changing relationships as often as they change socks. Some turn adrenaline rushing activities by living on the edge of their seats, at the extreme it becomes a life of addictions to illicit substances and risky behavior or even crime. There is an emptiness with no foreseeable satisfaction. Is this you? You want more control of your own life and choices. You want more people to recognize and honor you your contributions to this world. You want to be a significant part of someone’s life. BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS LET ALONE HOW TO GET A HOLD OF IT.
